ROOM 1 On the 1st floor above the bar, main building. Superior - good-sized room, built-in wardrobe and with a low-ish ceiling and beam, window seat, view of mountains in the distance. Good sized en-suite with shower over bath.
ROOM 2 On the 1st floor above the dining room, main building. Superior - good-sized room, built-in wardrobe and with low-ish ceiling and beam, view of sea in the distance. Good sized en-suite with shower over bath.
ROOM 3 On the 2nd floor, main building. Executive - very large room with a wealth of beams, View from bed of sea in the distance and a view of the mountains from the sofa. Very large en-suite with corner bath and separate 'two person' sized enclosed shower. Suitable for a family room.
ROOM 4 On the ground floor front of annex. Executive -very large bedroom with low-ish ceiling, lobby with built-in wardrobe. Large en-suite has bath with separate 'wet area' - glass block wall with no shower tray to step up onto and no screen or door - useful if you are not fully mobile. Suitable for a family room.
ROOM 5 On the Ground floor rear of annex. Superior deluxe - large room with built-in wardrobe in bedroom, new oak beam in ceiling. View of restored C17 courtyard. Good sized en-suite has shower over bath.
ROOM 6 On the 1st floor rear of annex. Superior - good sized room with high ceiling and a wealth of beams. Lobby with built-in wardrobe - low door into lobby! Good sized en-suite 'two person' sized enclosed shower with original 400 year-old oak cladding on wall in apex.
ROOM 7 On the 1st floor front of annex). Executive - very large bedroom, high ceiling with a wealth of beams - one is low-ish! Lobby for coats etc. Views of the Castle and sea in the distance. Large en-suite has bathtub and a separate '2 person' sized enclosed shower. Suitable for a family room.
Décor is contemporary in the style of understated luxury. To counterbalance the character of the 400 year old buildings the furnishings and fittings are modern, sleek and contemporary - solid oak furniture, brushed chrome lights etc. The colour scheme is warm creams with a dash of colour in the bespoke curtains, headboards and cushions. Heating is controlled individually in each room.
The rooms are priced according to individual size and facilities – residents who take dinner receive a discount.
Check in is after 2pm and bedrooms to be vacated by 10.30 am on day of departure please. On leather sofa bed in family room children charged @ £15.00 per day (adults @ £25.00) to cover breakfast & linen - meals are charged as taken. A cot for babies is free of charge. All rooms are non-smoking.
